Cefn Coch is an old traditional Welsh Country House situated on the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park in Mid Wales near Tywyn and Aberdovey. It provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation to a four star standard in this beautiful part of Wales.

Situated where the mountains meet the sea, Cefn Coch provides bed and breakfast accommodation that is ideal for exploring this beautiful and peaceful part of Snowdonia. The area is a perfect location for visiting the legendary Welsh Railways and Castles, also for walking it's many beautiful mountain and coastal paths.

We are near to the Mawddach Trail a stunning walk from Dolgellau to Barmouth, which was featured on the BBC series 'Railway Walks' and described as one of North Wales best kept secrets.

The house is steeped in history and has in the past been a coaching inn, a working farm and is recorded as being the last tavern in the village of Llanegryn. Evidence of it's history can still be found in several areas of the house and gardens.

Today Cefn Coch has been carefully restored yet still retains many of the features of a period property. These include welsh slate floors, beams and exposed stone walls. Stripped pine furniture, paintings, antiques, bric a brac and fresh flowers all add to the character of the house. This is ideal bed and breakfast accommodation for exploring this part of Snowdonia and the Cardigan Bay coast.
