Throughout the seasons the views are constantly changing in this area of Snowdonia, from the snow-capped mountains in the winter, spring time lambs and the beautiful lush green pastures of summer. At any time of the year Cefn Coch offers a secluded and beautiful setting for quiet relaxation or an ideal base for exploring the surrounding mountain and coastal attractions of the Snowdonia National Park.

Close to the house is the famous Bird Rock and Cader Idris which is very imposing at the head of a tranquil valley.

We are just a short distance of some of the most beautiful beaches, bays and coastline in mid/north Wales including the old fishing village of Aberdovey.

Within easy reach are many interesting and entertaining places to visit, historic castles, narrow gauge railways, gold and slate mines.

Sea and freshwater fishing, Pony trekking, and bike hire is available locally.

The area is well known for its spectacular countryside, mountain and coastal walks, many of these can be started from the guest house.

Bikes are available for hire through our company Bird Rock Cycle Hire which is based at Cefn Coch.
